SRM Perth (Spiritual Renewal Ministry) began as a small group bible study in homes in 2013 as a few passionate families joined together for bible study and prayer.
Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, SRM Perth moved to Our Lady Queen of Apostles Parish and now has regular prayer meetings every Thursday night, 7pm, with praise and worship and teachings based on Scripture.
The ministry is passionate to reach the lost, broken and troubled souls of Western Australia, through retreats and outreaches supported by CCR Perth (Catholic Charismatic Renewal).
Some highlights include family day retreats, street evangelisation, Bible studies and youth retreats with global and inter-state speakers filled with the power of God.
We look forward to reaching many souls in WA as the mission continues. To join, or for further enquiries, please contact us (c/o Coordinator: Varghese Mathew).

Parenting is a journey we’re not meant to walk alone. Join us on 30th August in Perth for a seminar on building stronger, faith-filled connections with our children. All parents are warmly invited to join us for Parenting with Purpose, a practical and faith-filled seminar presented by our parish’s Spiritual Renewal Ministry.
Whether you’re expecting your first child, raising little ones, or guiding teenagers, this is a time to pause, be encouraged, and reflect on how we can bring God’s love and wisdom into our homes.
Together, we’ll explore biblical insights, share real-life experiences, and discuss ways to nurture both faith and family life in today’s world.
The morning will include teaching, open discussion, and a friendly Q&A session, giving you a chance to learn from others and connect with fellow parents in our parish community.
Come and be refreshed, equipped, and inspired to raise children in faith, love, and purpose — right here in our own parish family.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about the Healing Mass
If you’ve never attended a Healing Mass before, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience it right here in our own parish, surrounded by familiar faces.
For enquiries, contact: Varghese Mathew 0425 807 434.
“Is this just for the Charismatic group?”
Not at all. This Healing Mass is for everyone in our parish family — whether you’ve been here for decades or only just joined. This is not just an event for those already involved in the Charismatic prayer group — it is for the whole parish family. The Healing Mass is a time to come before the Lord with our needs, our gratitude, and our hope. Through the Eucharist, prayer, and praise, we open our hearts to God’s healing touch — whether that’s physical healing, peace in times of worry, or strength in life’s struggles.
“What actually happens?”
The evening will include uplifting music, a short time of praise and worship, prayer ministry for those who wish, and a beautiful Mass celebrated in the spirit of openness to the Holy Spirit. It’s a Catholic Mass — with the usual prayers, readings, and Eucharist — but with extra time for singing, joyful praise, and prayer for healing. Some people come forward for prayer ministry; others stay in their seats and pray quietly. You choose what feels right for you.
“Do I need to know Charismatic prayer?”
No experience needed! Just come with an open heart. Think of it as coming to Jesus as you are — with your needs, hopes, and gratitude.
“Can I bring my children or family?”
Absolutely! Families are warmly encouraged to come together. The music, prayer, and sense of community are uplifting for all ages, and children can simply join in as they feel comfortable. It’s a beautiful way to pray as a family.
“What if I’m shy?”
That’s perfectly fine. You can take part quietly, stay seated during prayer ministry, and simply soak in the atmosphere of prayer and peace. No one will put you on the spot.
